This equinox Libra Full Moon brings a shift in perspective- Lynn Hayes

FULL MOON AT THE EQUINOX!!

The time of the Full Moon, when the Sun in the sky is exactly opposite the Moon from our vantage point on earth, is always a time for balance. The Sun is our conscious Self – our goals, our visions, our ideas that combine to create our lives. The Moon illustrates our instincts and our subconscious needs and desires – the emotions that can be murky but always real and true.

The lunar cycle is symbolic of the dance between our conscious awareness and the inner world of the emotions, a polarity which requires balance and integration just as all polarities in astrology do. The entire wheel of the zodiac is a system of polarities, in which each pair of signs represent oppositional forces that require balance and integration. That is particularly true when the Moon is in Libra, the sign that more than any other embodies this dance.

Libra seeks to live an experience of harmony through peaceful interaction with others and a love of beauty and aesthetic pleasure. This can lead to a highly sensitive nervous system, especially at the Full Moon.

The Full Moon in March occurs at 0 degrees Libra, with the Sun at the Aries Point. This will be a significant energy portal as we shift into the new season under the Aries/Libra polarity. Not only is this a new season, but the emotional impact of the Full Moon supercharges the shift from darkness to light, from winter to summer. This is also a SuperMoon, meaning it is at its closest point to the Earth, but it is also at the first degree of the cardinal signs that shift us from one season into another. The 0 degree point of Aries, the Equinox point, is sometimes called the “World Point” because it orients us towards the world at large and externalizes our experience. For my friends down under, the externalization process is more complex because spring occurs at the Libra point rather than Aries, but here in the northern hemisphere the Aries point is the harbinger of spring – the emergence of the Sun into a new trip around the Zodiacal wheel.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is a “cardinal sign” – like its opposite sign Libra it is a sign that marks the beginning of a change of season and a balance point between light and darkness. The days are of equal length at the equinoxes, but at the Aries point the dark gives way to light. The fire of Aries inspires an opening of a portal of energy to fuel and fire the senses and bring about a shift in our attention and in the things that we find to be important to us.

Under the Libra Full Moon we seek to find balance and equanimity in a world of intensity and stress. We can manage this through a re-alignment of our personal relationships (Libra) by integrating the Aries polarity of self-preservation into our connections with loved ones and others that we come into contact with.

With Mercury retrograde our attention is drawn into the past so this is the perfect time to re-examine areas of our lives to see where we need to find more balance between our own needs (Aries) and our relationships (Libra). Mercury is retrograde in Pisces where things are not always clear and we must wait for the mists to clear before making important decisions, especially since Neptune is also tightly aligned with Mercury now. Chiron, representing and facilitating the healing of old wounds, is tightly aligned with the lunation to amplify our emotions and feelings and bring up old wounds that have not yet been healed. The healing of these wounds is a focus of this Full Moon, and release of old painful memories will help with the process of shifting from past into a brighter future.

Full Moon is March 21, 2019 at 12:42 am with the Equinox being on the same day - Power Path

This is a Super Moon and a rare and powerful event with the Equinox landing on the same day. You have an opportunity, a portal through which this power comes through, to set some intentions for potent and inspired new beginnings.

All those things you have been dreaming about can now be supported by the fertility of this Equinox. But be careful what you ask for. Make sure it is what you want and not someone else's dream.

The power of this full moon will energize whatever you put into motion. It is a feminine time but supported by the masculine. A perfect combination of balance between the Sun and the Moon. So we honor both of them on this day. What do want to plant the seeds for, to give birth to, to have manifest in your life? How are you willing to take disciplined action to make it happen? What are you willing to change, give up and push through to move forward into a new landscape?

It is definitely a day to honor the Equinox and Full Moon in some ceremonial way and if you can do it with support and community, all the better.

Blessings,

Lena

Equinox is one of the four most powerful solar points of the year! With this equinox we are blessed with a Full Moon/SuperMoon marking and expanding that fertile point of new beginnings, the zero Aries point. We begin the new cycle of the zodiac wheel backed by the full emotional power of the Full Moon. The Aries Sun will lend us courage, initiative and a willingness to take a risk and the Libra Moon will emphatically point to emotional cooperation and partnership and bringing more beauty into our life.

A LOT HAPPENING... December 17, 2018 -Claire East

A LOT HAPPENING…

Solstice energies on the 21st/22nd December are aligning with the Full Moon this year, and we have the Christmas angelic energies surrounding us, and it’s the end of quite a year.

2018 has been a strange year. It has been exhausting, destabilizing, and yet at times exciting, and perhaps because of all this strange energy effecting us it has also been a ‘breaking free’ year. Although I have to say the ‘breaking free’ part is highlighted only by the sense of one’s own internal ‘imprisonment.’ Its like we have become aware of how much we are a hostage to our circumstances.

On a soul level, which often seems to run counter to what we think we want, or how we think our lives should be, there is and will continue to be a craving for intensity (and you thought you wanted a quiet life). Your soul craves intensity. There it is all around you, look at your life this year.

Also, on a soul level, there is a continuing realignment of Spirit within us, and a realignment and greater understanding of the Divine, generally there is a moving away from outer authority. This is very Aquarian; the consciousness (Aquarian Age) we are moving into.

As we move away energetically from the old stable steady ways, into the new, we will feel and have felt for some time, like we have set up house on a bed of quicksand.

2018 was a year of daring. 2019 will be a year of ‘doing it differently.’

At this time, through the Solstice and Full Moon portals, and beyond into early January 2019, there is a great outpouring of spiritual energies towards Earth and her inhabitants. This will give us a feeling that we are being bombarded by an extreme flooding of energies, ideas, emotions, past life memories, joys, and will at times make us feel ‘wrung out.’ There will be a sense of home with this, and a sense of the inevitable, this is both on personal level and a global political level. (Mostly all immigration issues are in the end about a sense of home).

This unusual energy, which has been around slightly the past six months, and will continue to build through 2019/2020, will require you to use all your spiritual gnosis, all your spiritual sense, all your spiritual training, all your soul understanding, and your loving heart to make the most of life. You will be tested on ‘holding the light’ within you when all sorts of things are chaotic, surprising, forceful or boring around you.

Over the next two years, even the smallest seemingly inconsequential thing, like a word, a look, a smell, an old memory, etc., can slice through your energy field with consequences. Being aware of this helps you not to fall into victim consciousness (which is Base Chakra stuff), victim consciousness abounds at the moment.

A good, but not easy, way to handle these energies and the daily events they bring, is to let them lead you, to surrender to the course of each day. (This is not very 21st century where we want to control everything, (control is a masculine energy, surrender is a feminine energy: we have both within us). This is not about giving up despairingly, but more about trusting (feminine) the destiny, your destiny, of the day. Experiment; let’s see what destiny brings you, if you let go of trying to make it happen!

Remember to say ‘IAMTHATIAM,’ breathe, don’t over-speak. Its okay to rest. Ask for soothing. And let the day happen.

I AM AND I LET MY DESTINY LEAD ME

FULL MOON AND SOLSTICE UPDATE DECEMBER 2018-Lena Stevens at Powerpath

Dear Friends,

Solstice is Friday, December 21 at 3:22 PM MST

Full Moon is Saturday, December 22 at 5.48pm GMT

Solstices are always about a powerful shift from the old into something new. This one is no exception. They are important times to release the past and to gain some clarity and set some intentions for the future. As we are moving into a time where the element of earth is prevalent, this solstice offers an opportunity for grounding and anchoring this intentions with the help of Pacha Mama. On the other hand, the grounded quality can also bring up places of resistance, stubbornness and where you are still holding on to something past. Watch bones, teeth and joints during this time.

In addition to our usual recommendation to do some kind of ceremony or ritual, we also recommend the you make some kind of a change in your physical environment to honor the change of season and the power of the solstice. Get rid of something, move some furniture, bring in something new that better represents who you are. The solstice is also a time of renewal. What needs to be freshened up in your life?

For a ritual or ceremony, you can write down what you wish to release, burn or bury the writing, and then focus on your new intentions, writing down what is clear to you at this time.

As we are moving into a year of chaos fighting structure, how you use this time of the solstice (and the full moon on Saturday) will help you to get your ducks in a row in anticipation of the times. (For more on the influences of 2019 including chaos, earth and water, download Trends 2019)(link here)

The Solstice this year is followed closely by a Full Moon that honors the other influence of 2019, water. Water represents the emotions, fluidity, flexibility, and is a powerful agent of change. Earth and water will be working together in 2019 either harmoniously bringing fertility and balance into your life, or forcefully, creating change at inconvenient times. Use this Full Moon time in conjunction with the Solstice to check in with your intuition and emotional self to see the truth of what you need to let go of and the truth about what you truly wish to bring in to your life. It is a time where being around others of like mind and heart is helpful. As addictions will be a challenge in 2019, our sincere hope and wish for everyone is for a collective release of the addiction to suffering.

Another good way to use this Full Moon/Solstice time is to contemplate all the structures in your life, all the containers you have created to support you. Are they still in resonance with you? Or do they need some adjustment in order to give you some room to change? Don’t be afraid of a little chaos as you are moving things around both physically and emotionally. Do it in bits and pieces one step at a time and as long as you keep things moving, you will be fine.

Happy Solstice!

Blessings,

Lena

FULL MOON IN CANCER

Sun in Capricorn ~ Moon in Cancer 0º

Sat. Dec. 22, 10:48 AM Mountain Standard Time

(Sat. Dec. 22, 5:48 PM Greenwich Mean Time)

One of the most powerful days of the year, Winter Solstice, finds the light of the Sun as far south as it can reach and where we move into the earth sign Capricorn. We are joined this year by a Full Moon at 0º Cancer less than a day behind Solstice increasing the energetics of this extreme point in the year. Saturn strong in its own sign, Capricorn, rides with the Sun so there is a valence of maturity and responsibility beaming down on the Moon in watery, feminine, Cancer ripe and full in her own sign of rulership. Solstice of December 2017 also saw Saturn in near exact conjunction to the Sun, but we did not have the magical Moon to balance it as we do here.

The Moon in Cancer is ruler of this chart and she shines in her fullness bringing into play her powerful nurturing, supportive and protective nature. The emotional quality of Cancer will be strong at Solstice/Full Moon. Sensitivity, intuition and psychic awareness will be heightened. Memories will surface. You may find yourself highly impacted by your environment and those you are with ~ for better or worse, soaring or plunging.

Cancer rules the stomach and the breasts. Food is central to our security and nourishment. Here is the source of your domestic instincts for security, nesting and familial connection, as well as preservation of the past, your lineage and ancestors.

The Cancer/Capricorn polarity calls up the axis of family vs. career, mother vs. father, home vs. community, personal vs. social. Being a cardinal sign makes it action oriented and also a polarity of leadership. Cancer, as The Mother, is the most fertile of signs, and Capricorn, ruled by Saturn is the most structured of signs creating the foundations and institutions of our society that which protects and provides for the safety, growth and stability of the community.

Mercury is conjunct Jupiter in Sagittarius exact on Solstice. With such a powerful day, there is potential to shift our perceptual base, that blind spot we live from out of habit as we look to the horizon for what is possible to create. A thought-provoking podcast, workshop or journey is just the spark that may set you off in a new direction. Mercury/Jupiter is a combo to inspire you to speak your truth perhaps from a larger container.

Venus in Scorpio is traveling closely with Ceres both aspects of our feminine selves. Venus is more inclined to aesthetics and the social and financial areas of life, while Ceres is similar to the Moon. She is related to early bonding, nourishment via the Earth, agriculture, and grains, as in Cere-al. She also holds dominion over the midwife rituals of birth and death. With powerful goddesses in Scorpio, we invite in mystery where deep psychological transformation is available. Ceres/Venus (Scorpio) is opposite Juno (Taurus) through the end of the year increasing our desire for intimate relating and bringing our awareness to where we give away our power to others and why, and bringing our partnerships and relationships into close scrutiny. Bringing positive energy will be the Grand Trine in water signs Sunday after Full Moon with Neptune, Ceres/Venus and the Moon – a brief, but welcome time of emotional ease and grace.

NEW MOON in Sagittarius + Mercury Direct December 6th / 7th 2018~MYSTIC MAMMA

*NEW MOON* rising in Sagittarius on December 6th/7th, the same day Mercury goes Direct.

There are many moving parts right now as our worlds are being recreated and renewed.

Sagittarius New Moon coupled with Mercury going Direct is unleashing an inspired energetic stream moving us toward liberation as we long to explore new pathways and new avenues.

The energy is exciting, fiery and inspired, wanting to dismantle and begin anew. But we must be mindful in harnessing this energy and take caution against going too far into extremes.

Rather than getting carried away, we can harness this deepening force asking us to face and creatively engage in the transformation afoot.

For on the deepest level, it is calling us to rise and meet our own deepest needs and longings.

We are responsible for our own happiness and so rather than looking outside, we need to turn inward and ask ourselves, what will ultimately feed and nurture our Soul and what can we do to shift into that alignment?

May we navigate these changing tides with grace and ingenuity!

Here are the Astral Insights from our beloved featured astrologers…

APRIL ELLIOT KENT from Mooncircles.com shares:

“Sagittarius is a freedom-loving, papa-was-a-rolling-stone kind of sign… and this New Moon chart features a triumvirate of the Sun, Moon, and Jupiter in this sign, square a tight conjunction of Mars and Neptune in Pisces.

“You may feel a strong urge to roam. In fact, you may feel that you have no choice but to run away from home—or your job, or your marriage…

“So you say the words that can’t be taken back, turn the key, lob the grenade, and some deep, savage, renegade impulse at the core of you screams ‘Yes!’ at the top of its lungs…

“It could be the best decision you’ve ever made. But with Mars and Neptune involved, it’s also quite possible that you… will return from your adventure with a big old bite on your butt.

“That’s what haunts us when we contemplate dramatic change: the fear of making an awful, possibly irrevocable mistake.

“You wonder: Are you going on a Spirit Quest, or are you simply, wastefully throwing away a perfectly good job/relationship/happiness with both hands?

“Interestingly, I don’t think we firebomb our lives, as a rule, because things are overwhelmingly, objectively awful. When that is the case, we usually don’t have the energy or confidence to make such a dramatic move.

“Rather, most people I’ve watched blow up their lives do so simply because they’re dissatisfied, for reasons they don’t quite understand.

“They feel unappreciated, unwanted, as though they’re not living the right life for them. They feel trapped, and invisible, and beholden to someone—maybe even a perfectly nice someone—in a way they can’t abide…

“We step out onto the precipice at this New Moon. Where you feel trapped, you will find yourself yearning to wriggle free.

“But you don’t have to firebomb your entire life and start over.

“For most of us, it will be enough to approach the ticking time bombs in our lives cautiously and disarm them with quiet disclosures to the right people and a step, however tentative, in another direction.

“Ask: Where can you be more truthful, to yourself and to others? What are the secrets and fears that are preventing you from living authentically?
