New Moon is a time to watch judgment and irritability as it could come up around old patterns and wounds. Where are you still holding someone in debt to you for past wrongs? Where do you still feel in debt to some old pattern of regret or shame you have been trying to change?

As these influences may be up, you have a great opportunity with this new moon to do some real healing, forgiveness and letting go. The chaos at this time is related to all the obsessive thoughts in your mind and it would be a good practice to do whatever you can to clear the mind and focus on a reset that forgives the past and settles into a more peaceful field of creativity that brings some clarity to new intentions.

Jupiter rules this New Moon cycle in Sagittarius, and Jupiter always bestows a generous portion of good fortune, upbeat action, clarity for the big picture, and leaning into our spiritual growth. We favor adventure with Jupiter ~ reimagining our lives, travel to new places, exploring new uncharted areas of life, living in spirited joie de vivre! This cycle comes into fullness with the energy of an inspired new beginning. With Gemini/Sag we are able to consider not only information, detail and all mental input, but we are also able to hold the big picture vision we all need as we pass through this time of tremendous transformation. So, now is the time to dream your dream and engage and perfect your ability to hold your vision of the future while taking care of the details of life.

*FULL MOON* rising in Gemini on November 22nd 2018.

Venus went direct on November 16th and on that same day Mercury went Retrograde. As our hearts return from their underworld voyage our focus turns inward to nourish ourselves as we process so many of the changes that have been occurring.

For most of us these have been some very turbulent times. For me and our community in the mountains of Southern California, we have been dealing with the blazing wildfires where so many lost their homes and their loved ones.

My family and I had to evacuate from our home for over a week but gratefully our home and community were spared.

There is no doubt that experiences like this bring to the forefront what is most essential and what truly matters most. A reminder to never loose sight of that.

We, each in our own ways, have been moving through trying times.

This Scorpio cycle has been teaching us of the power of regeneration, and our ability to go through the fire and literally rise from the ashes like the phoenix transformed.

We are having a New Moon in Scorpio on November 7th at 4:02 pm Universal Time. This is initiating a 29.5-day Lunar cycle and a new wave of energy for the coming month. This cycle will peak at the Full Moon in Gemini that is occurring on November 22nd/23rd.

The Sun has already been in Scorpio for the previous few weeks yet this New Moon will trigger this energy even more so. This sign is associated with power, transformation, sexuality, regeneration, passion, and depth. It is calculated, complex, mysterious and also associated with money/resourceS when it is shared, as well as inheritances, and debts.

It can be also vengeful, secretive, manipulative, fearful, compulsive, and obsessive. As a fixed water sign, it is emotional, intuitive, and strong-willed. However, Scorpio can be very stealthy when it comes to exposing their true feelings, emotions, and vulnerabilities.

The Sun and Moon are moving towards a sextile with Pluto which is a modern sub-ruler of Scorpio. This aspect emphasizes what I have already written especially the positive qualities of this sign. Scorpio Ruler Mars Trine Venus Retrograde

At the time of this New Moon, Mars in Aquarius is making a trine to Venus retrograde in Libra, which will be strongest a few days later. This is occurring in Air signs while Venus is in its last week of its retrograde. This can be a great energy for social interactions, romance, or perhaps even working on something creative or aesthetic, especially if it was initiated in the past.

However, with Venus still being retrograde, whatever occurs during this period will also play a role in the reorientation of how we apply ourselves in Venus ruled areas which will conclude in the coming weeks. Venus rules relationships (socially and romantically), money, beauty, love, values, as well as creativity and pleasures.

Jupiter Entering Sagittarius, Mercury Going Retrograde Soon

As mentioned above, Jupiter is changing signs less than a day after this New Moon.
