New Moon In Aires Moving Forward In New Ways-Carmen DiLuccio

We are having a New Moon in Aries tonight/tomorrow depending on where you are located in the world. Mercury has ended its retrograde approximately 16 hours before this New Moon making this period extra significant in terms of a new forward momentum based on what has transpired during that time since March 22nd.

As Mercury slowly begins to move forward, now and over the coming weeks, some of the themes and challenges of the retrograde get resolved and/or we achieve greater clarity around the areas of our lives that have been affected. When considering this and the fact that it is in the sign of this New Moon, Aries, it really emphasizes the moving forward themes and can even facilitate a new start somehow as Aries is the first sign of the zodiac.⠀

The Aries themes that have come up during the retrograde, and continue to play out over the coming weeks in this moon cycle, has to do with how we assert ourselves, our independence, our self-interests, and our individuality. In some cases, it could be connected to how we apply leadership or it could even have to do with how we handle aggression and anger. However, the areas of life that have been affected for you also depends on your natal birth chart.⠀

This New Moon is applying towards a conjunction with Uranus, which will definitely add its flavour to this lunar cycle. Uranus brings themes of breakthroughs, freedom, separation, rebellion, innovation, instability, new experiences, excitement, surprises, as well as sudden changes or disruptions. This energy will be strong in the first 4 days following this New Moon, however, because Uranus is at the end of Aries during the second half of this lunar cycle, this energy will also be extra heightened from the end of April until mid-late May when it transitions signs.⠀
