Full Moon with a Total Lunar Eclipse is Friday, July 27th - Lena Stevens

This is a rather intense full moon, (some of you have been feeling it for days already), that creates a window to speak your truth, embrace your personal power, and step up to a new level of integrity, maturity and confidence.
It is a perfect time for a bid for Power. What do you really and truly want that you either feel you don’t deserve, you don't have the skills or time to create, or you simply don’t believe it could happen? Face your doubts, fears and anxieties, and ask for help and support for your bigger dreams.

This is a great time for transformation, expansion and clearing of some very deep old emotional insecurities and wounding. It is a good sign if you feel slightly unbalanced, emotional and vulnerable. Great healing is possible and forgiveness is a key.

It is a good time also to revisit the details of your physical environment and to put some energy into what will support you better. Take a look with fresh eyes at what you have been putting up with and make some decisions to improve your surroundings. Be proactive with this time and beware of falling into judgment, negativity, lethargy and despair. If it happens, focus on something that inspires you, that makes you happy and feel good.

Blessings,
Lena

Total Lunar Eclipse In Aquarius: Major Changes & Release - Carmen Di Luccio

We are having a Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27th, 2018 which is also referred to as a ‘Blood Moon’. This specific eclipse will be the longest Lunar Eclipse we will have until 2123, lasting almost 4 hours. This is because it is a total eclipse at a time of year when the Earth reaches its furthest point from the Sun in its orbit while the Moon will be at its furthest point from the Earth. Therefore it casts a larger shadow over the Moon.

This eclipse will be visible from South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. In North America, a small part of it will be visible in Eastern Newfoundland, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and other islands east of there.

Eclipse season happens every 6 months and reflect changes and shifts. The effects of a Solar Eclipse can last up to 6 months, while the effects of a Lunar Eclipse can last 1-3 months. This is the 2nd of a series of three happening back to back, with the previous and following ones being partial Solar Eclipses. However, this one is the most significant of the three because it is closest to the Lunar Nodes which is where the path of the Sun and Moon intersect. When this occurs, it is then a ‘Total’ or ‘Annular’ eclipse,  similarly to the ‘Great American’ Solar Eclipse that occurred in August 2017.

Mercury also began its retrograde less than 2 days prior. This time occurring in Leo where the next Solar Eclipse will also occur. This combined with the eclipses and Mars also currently retrograde really emphasizes the changes and re-orientations occurring this summer. You can read more about this Mercury retrograde on the website.

Total Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius On The South Node

We have been experiencing eclipses in the Leo/Aquarius axis since last year. The eclipses in Leo are close to the North Node and the ones in Aquarius are close to the South Node. The changes reflected by these eclipses lean more towards new beginnings with how we incorporate Leo energy and endings around Aquarius energy. However, endings, beginnings, and different types of changes connected to both polarities can still occur.

This specific one being a Total Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) really close to the South Node emphasizes more endings and release, but again, it is part of a process that began over a year ago. Aquarius is connected to how we approach friendships, acquaintances, colleagues, groups, and the collective. It is also about the intellect, humanitarian efforts, and social constructs. It can be aloof, overly objective, too scientific, dispassionate, impersonal, and detached.

Solar ECLIPSE New Moon in Cancer July 12th / 13th 2018 ~ MYSTIC MAMMA

Solar Eclipse *NEW MOON* in Cancer ( July 12th / 13th 2018) reminds us that it’s time to come home to our whole Self.

Feelings that have been dormant in the underworld of our psyches, are returning to us like waves rising toward the shore.

The past is knocking on our door, not because it has come back to haunt us, but because it has come back to heal us.

There is a part of our lives that we have disconnected from because it has left a deep wound.

These are the imprints that we would rather forget as we continue to move rapidly into our future. But sometimes, the cycles of Life turn to bring these pieces from our past back into our present for reconciliation and healing.

The reclaiming of our past is our soul’s retrieval of power. It’s the reconnaissance of all our orphaned parts back into ourselves, back into who we are now.

And who we are now is precisely because of the past we have lived, not in spite of it.

As individuals and as a culture, we need to make amends with where we’ve been. Our histories are all marked with stories of abuse of power and we all fall somewhere within the spectrum.

This Cancer New Moon reminds us that with a compassionate heart, we can face and embrace all that has been and all that we are, and free ourselves from that which has had its hold on us. Thus opening the way for us to truly move forward.

Here are the ASTRAL INSIGHTS from our beloved featured astrologers. First PAM YOUNGHANS from her North Point Astrology shares:

“ECLIPSE SEASON officially begins this week although in truth, many have already been feeling and working with the potent energies.

“The Solar Eclipse/ New Moon…is especially transformational, due to the close opposition between the Sun/Moon in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn…

“Watch for signs of new themes emerging, especially in the realms ruled by Cancer: children and motherhood, women’s issues, home and domestic concerns, emotional and psychic sensitivity, protectionism, and vulnerability.

“We are likely to feel deeply sensitive and moody around the time of the eclipse. Emotions may swell up from deep inner levels, breaking through the surface of an otherwise calm sea.

“We can feel a profound nostalgia or longing, especially if our lives are not currently providing the kind of nurturing and support we need to thrive.

“If this happens, it is an opportunity for us to check in and ask why are we not making choices that allow greater satisfaction. We can look to Pluto in Capricorn for some clues as to the answer to that question.

“Are we giving away our power to our career or other responsibilities, forgetting to take time for self-nurturing? Are we trying to live up to the demands of authority figures in our lives, in ways that undermine our self-care?

Solar Eclipse In Cancer Addressing Our Shadows - Carmen Di Luccio

We are having a partial Solar Eclipse in Cancer on July 12th/13th. It is a supercharged New Moon that not only influences this month, but also the following 6 months. The only place on land that it will be visible is the Southeastern tip of Australia, however, it will still affect everyone in some way.

This is first eclipse in the Cancer-Capricorn axis of a series which will continue next year more strongly as we are also still also finishing off eclipses in the Leo-Aquarius axis which began last year.

Cancer is the sign of nurturing, sensitivity, emotional bonding, family, and the domestic life. It is also associated with security, comforts, nostalgia, while also instinctual, protective and subjective. It can also be vulnerable, clingy, overly emotional and attached to the past.

This Eclipse is in a tight opposition with Pluto in Capricorn, which almost gives it the effect of a Full Moon although it is a New Moon. At worst, it can bring challenges connected to fears, our shadow selves, power struggles, control, hidden matters, and can stimulate the manipulative potentials of both Cancer and Capricorn.

Pluto has some similar properties to Mars as well, and considering that it is currently retrograde, we can see overlapping themes connected to intensity, anger, sexuality, and desire play out. Both of these planets highlighted now can also make people more edgy. With Pluto being in Capricorn and Mars retrograding back to Capricorn later, it’s also possible that some of the challenges and struggles that come up now could be connected to issues around structure, career, business, resources, or responsibilities.

Pluto also rules death and rebirth while Jupiter just ended its retrograde in Scorpio which is a Plutonian sign. At best this combined energy can help to facilitate growth associated with overcoming fears. It can also help to bring our shadow aspects into greater awareness and perhaps have some sort of transformational, empowering, or purging qualities towards them. When it comes to healing, both Pluto and Scorpio are about going deep.

he New Moon with a partial solar eclipse (the first of three) is Friday, July 13, 2:47 AM GMT- PowerPath

This New Moon launches a month long period of intensity, change, breakthrough and opportunity to step up your game on many levels. During this time it is ultra important to focus on all the things that are working and that you appreciate in your life instead of letting yourself get bogged down in negativity.

Face challenges with compassion and kindness and remember that not everyone has the tools that you do to see the bigger picture.

It is easy to get swept up into the negative and to react to the injustices and imbalances and reactions of others. Don't take the bait. Bring love and gratitude into your interactions and actions whenever you can and give others the benefit of the doubt even if you don’t believe they deserve it. On a positive note, this is an incredible time to launch something new, pushing the edge of what you think you can accomplish. Take a risk, make a bid for power, step up and show up with more confidence and maturity. The new moon is a time to set intentions and make commitments to how you will stay your ground and be an example for others. And it is OK to ask for help. Support is everywhere. You just have to accept and receive it.

Blessings,

Lena

Cancer New Moon Solar Eclipse 2018

Sun and Moon in Cancer ~ 20º

Thursday, July 12, 8:47 PM Mountain Daylight Time (Friday, July 13, 2:47 AM Greenwich Mean Time)

Eclipse season is here to catalyze internal shift and movement in a direction of power. A bid for power requires an offering on your part. Most likely you will be sacrificing your old habits and ways of seeing the world as the biannual alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth open the portals of reset allowing you to jettison old baggage and align yourself with the most current energies available.

With THREE eclipses – solar, lunar, solar, we have an extended season (Jul 12, Jul 27, Aug 11) of four weeks instead of two. The strongest will be the July 27 total eclipse of the Moon in Aquarius 4º at Full Moon. Eclipses happen when the New or Full Moons align with the Nodes and the Nodes are at 5º Leo/Aquarius. Cancer New Moon is at 20º so, it’s only close enough to the Nodes for a very partial solar eclipse, but on July 27 the Sun and Moon will be at 4º Leo/Aquarius within 1º of the Nodes and bam! you get a beautiful total lunar eclipse.
