New Moon is Saturday, March 17th at 1:11pm GMT - Lena Stevens

Honor the spirit of water during this New Moon. Focus on the life-giving properties of water as well as water’s ability to dissolve and wash away what no longer serves.
This is an inner time of reflection and you may not feel very social or outgoing so make sure that if you are with others that they are supportive to you and your process. The nature of the times around this new moon is marked with volatility, emotion, and aggression. Stay focused on the positive and stay out of heated arguments and don’t take others negative reactions personally. We are supported during this new moon to look deep into our own personal wounding and allow as much healing as possible.

As always, a new moon (especially this one) is a good time to refine and reset any intentions you have and have been working with. Intend also for new insights to drop in as well as opportunities from unexpected sources. Anything can happen so dream it positively!

Blessings,
Lena

FIERCE FEMININE FORCES March 01, 2018 - Claire East

During the next four days we are in the energy of the Full Moon;  the Moon has always been associated with the feminine and when its ‘full’ it’s power and influence towards Earth (and us) is greater, and fuller.

Fierce feminine forces (or archetypes) have been working on us and with us for sometime, we can easily see this with various events of this time, like women finding the courage to speak out about sexual harassment and sexual abuse.

This sense of feminine independence is building within us; there will be an inner drive to ground the feminine more fully, more consciously within us.  This applies to all genders, as we all have a feminine side as well as a masculine side.

We are in a process of deep transformation, that’s why there seems to be so much brokenness in the world.  We are having our strength tested daily, this is in order for us to achieve personal and soul success, and happiness.  Are you strong enough?

These fierce feminine forces facilitated by the outpouring of the Full Moon energies are likely to stir up any issues, concerns, attitudes to mothering (mothers), lovering (lovers), and our deep essential self that has, in most cases, been neglected, and is now desperate to be born, to be seen, respected, loved, especially by you.

Although these feminine forces are strong, quietly unyielding, and fierce, you are safe.  The magnificent Universal Mother force loves you, this means you are safe always, safe enough to grow.  Safe enough to be you.

Blessings of the feminine.

Claire East

Once in another Blue Moon – the Virgo Full Moon of March 1st - Lynn Hayes

The month of March begins with a Full Moon in Virgo counterbalancing the mystical magic of the Pisces stellium that I wrote about a few days ago (read more here). With five planets in Pisces and Neptune figuring prominently in the chart of the Full Moon, the desire to transcend and melt into an experience of bliss and creative spirituality will be strong, with only the Virgo Moon to provide balance and order. Integrating polarities is an important part of any Full Moon since the Sun and Moon are always in opposite signs at that time. Here we are learning to find balance between day to day life in a body (Virgo) and the creative inspiration of Pisces.

The opportunity for experiences that open the heart will be many with a trine from Venus in Pisces, which is already open and ready to achieve bliss, to Jupiter in Scorpio which as it prepares to turn retrograde later this month is at a standstill, beaming a laser light of expansion and confidence in our ability to passionately (Scorpio) embrace life and love (Venus) in all of its many forms and with all of the blemishes intact.

A harmonious trine from Saturn to the Moon helps to ground her earthiness amidst the mystical magic of the Pisces/Neptune influence.  This Full Moon asks that we align firmly with our bodies and find our center in the earth while allowing our hearts to open and swell with love and an acceptance of the bliss of divine connection.  Not an easy path, but one which will bring abundant blessings!

Full Moon In Virgo - Carmen Di Luccio

SELF-CARE & GROWTH IN RELATIONSHIPS

We are having a Full Moon in Virgo on March 1st-2nd depending on your geographic location. It will appear the fullest on the night of March 1st in most areas of the world. It will also be the first of two Full Moons in the calendar month of March, which means that at the end of the month we will be having the second Blue Moon of the year which is very rare.

This Full Moon is part of the same Moon cycle of the last Solar Eclipse in Aquarius that we had on February 15th. It is possible that some of the themes of that eclipse can still be strong and can continue over the next few weeks until the end of this lunation cycle. However, eclipse themes are generally still present over the following 4-6 months until the next series of eclipses.

We have been in Pisces season since February 18th when the Sun entered this sign. Venus and Mercury are also there and they have all been joining Neptune which has been in Pisces since 2011. In modern astrology, Neptune is considered to be a ruler or co-ruler of Pisces and can really amplify Piscean energies whenever other planets are travelling through that sign. (I generally view it as a sub-ruler depending on the astrological application).

Full Moon In Virgo Opposite Sun In Pisces
Pisces is a water sign associated with compassion, spirituality, creativity, dreams, faith, oneness, sensitivity, and imagination. It is a sign that is generally more accepting, forgiving, and has a heightened psychic receptivity. On the downside, Pisces energy can be spacey, confusing, flakey, weak willed, impractical, with a tendency to escape the hard realities of the real world.

This Full Moon is happening in its opposite sign of Virgo, triggering a need to balance these energies. A Full Moon can sometimes bring up challenges or a push-pull effect related to the signs that the Sun and Moon are occupying. However, it can also be a period of integrating these energies as well, which is ultimately what we usually want to aim for. This could be more easily done this time around due to the configuration of planets.

Virgo is an Earth sign and is more concerned with the physical world. It is practical, efficient, hard working, analytical, organized, pure, meticulous, and reliable. It is also associated with how we take care of ourselves; our lifestyle and our bodies. On the downside, Virgo energy can be overly critical, petty, and perfectionist.

March 2nd.. Full Moon

"The March Full Moon is also working in tandem with the February Solar Eclipse and is the last Full Moon before the start of the astrological year.
