Full Moon In Sagittarius Exploring New Possibilities-Carmen Di Luccio

We are having a Full Moon in Sagittarius on Friday, June 9th at 1:10pm Universal Time. It will appear at its fullest on the night of June 8th if you are in the Americas. The astrological energies of the Full Moon start to become noticeable in the days leading up to it and remain fairly strong in the days following. The planetary configuration at this time also influences the following two weeks until the next Moon cycle begins.

On June 6th/7th, Venus entered Taurus and Mercury entered Gemini. These planets rule these signs and they express themselves very harmoniously there. Venus, which rules relationships, love, money, values, and pleasures, expresses itself in a way that is stable, determined, secure, and sensual, but could also be stubborn and overindulging. Mercury, which rules the mind, communication, information flow, and commuting, expresses itself in a way that is versatile, quick, multitasking, dualistic, and good with words. It can also be continuously changing and scattered while lacking focus and depth.

Mars entered Cancer on June 4th/5th, which is a sign that it is more challenged in the way it expresses itself, yet has different benefits. Mars represents assertiveness, action, aggression, and sex, while Cancer is an inward, retreating, protective, domestic, and feeling-based sign. In this sign Mars can generally be more passive. However, its assertive nature can be best expressed for getting things done around the home and taking action toward things that we are emotionally connected to and/or make us feel secure.

The Sun has been in Gemini since May 20th/21st, a time in which the communicative, dualistic, social, and information-rich qualities of Gemini have been more present. As the Moon in Sagittarius opposes the Sun, we find ourselves needing to look at more of the big picture, and considering what is beyond our immediate thoughts, language, and environment.

A Bountiful Sagittarius Full Moon on June 9 2017-Lynn Hayes

The next Full Moon on June 9th brings with it an explosion of expansiveness and confidence.  The Moon will have reached its fullness in the sign of Sagittarius, urging us to reach for the stars and beyond what we imagine to be possible.  And Jupiter, the planetary ruler of Sagittarius, harmonizes with both the Sun and Moon, amplifying the expansive energies of this lunar experience.

Astrology teaches that there is darkness and light in all things.  The expansion and confidence of Jupiter’s influence lead us to unparalleled positivity and achievement, but if you have ever filled a balloon with too much air you will know what can happen when we expand beyond a reasonable amount.  Economists are well aware that too much expansive growth can lead to undesirable results, and we have seen this time after time with stock market bubbles, real estate bubbles, etc.

Fortunately this Full Moon contains a strong Saturn influence to help keep us tethered to the ground as we allow our spirits to soar to new lunar heights.  Saturn can be restrictive; its influence can feel discouraging and even sometimes depressing when it is connected to the Moon.  This could lead to feelings of despair or failure, but if you utilize Saturn’s practicality and mindfulness at this time it can be a wonderful ally, ensuring that your dreams and ideals hatched and fertilized at the Sagittarius Full Moon are grounded in the real world with lasting permanence.

When Henry David Thoreau said “Go forth confidently in the direction of your dreams” he must have been under the Sagittarius Full Moon!

Theme for June 2017 is REALITY CHECK! - MYSTICMAMMA

Here is the energetic theme for June 2017 channelled by the always wise and insightful Lena Stevens from The Power Path.com:

“It is a month of paying attention to the signs, of acceptance of what is and what is showing up, of choosing your own reality vs the reality of others, and of allowing your intentions to align with right timing.

“Emotional clarity confirms your right reality and synchronicity and ease of action confirms you are on the right track.

“We take a break this month from instability, chaos and change, and have a chance to take a breath and confirm what is right for us at this time in our lives.

“And with that, we have an opportunity to anchor good practices for paying attention to signs and working with our allies. Many of you may feel inspired to look ahead and to imagine an expanded next step for your life.

“It is truly a time to be nurtured into the full bloom by allowing the signs of your reality check to guide you.

“Especially in the first few days of this month, if your path includes elements that are not ‘right’, you may experience a swift break down or dissolving of those elements.

“Take this as a gift from spirit and trust in the intelligence of your higher-self whose purpose is to keep you on the right track of your own intentions.

“On the other hand, what is ‘right’ will manifest in synchronicity and ease of action and you will experience a great flow of alignment.

“It is time to learn the lesson that growth does not need to include suffering and to be grateful instead of suspicious when life seems ‘too easy’.

“This is the ‘reality check’. What do you feel? Is it yours? Is it right? Is it unfolding with ease? What is showing up? What are the signs?

FULL MOON UPDATE - Lena Stevens

This full moon can either bring out stress levels or celebration. Let’s go for celebration. It would be better to have a some fun than to allow yourself to get bogged down with responsibility, pressure and chaos. Work with chaos creatively and be a little eccentric. Its a good time to try and do something new and out of the ordinary. Surprise yourself and go for it!

It is also important during this time to stay present and not to dwell on the past. If you are coming off a particularly stressful time, leave it in the past and embrace a different rhythm. You may feel irritated by lack of support or your own inability to ask for what you want. This full moon is a good time to reset that pattern and decide you can have more support and balance in your life. Go have some fun!

Blessings,
Lena

Scorpio Full Moon

Sun in Taurus ~ Moon in Scorpio 20º

Wed., May 10 3:42 PM Mountain Daylight Time

(Wed. 10:42 PM British Summer Time, BST)

Full Moon in Scorpio is that one time in the year when the Moon reflects back to us in full glory our deepest, feminine water power. Water is the element most impressionable, most reflective, most emotional, most empathetic, most patient. In fixed power sign, Scorpio, the energy becomes instinctual and indomitable; Scorpio gathers power close. With uniquely having three totems, the Scorpion, the Eagle, and the Phoenix, you have a choice as to how you will express your emotional power outwardly. Will you sting self and others, will you fly above the daily pettiness and observe from your lofty perch utilizing perfect force and timing, or will you conquer personal obstacles by rising from your own ashes and being spectacularly, almost miraculously reborn?

Reality shift... Simon Voster

"With 4 planets in a retrograde motion during the last cycle, the invisible and unconscious aspects of our being have recently become visible. The energy reflected by the astrological alignments of the past few weeks have made us acutely aware of the emotional wounds we carry, and provided us with the emotional triggers we need to help bring awareness to — and ultimately heal — those wounded, traumatized aspects of ourselves. During this current lunar cycle, which began with the New Moon in Taurus on April 26, this theme continues as our new awareness of traumas and triggers demands that we re-evaluate our self, our identity, values and ideals. We are in the midst of a personal and collective reality shift and, as we work to balance the competing energies of intention and surrender, our challenge is to navigate this part of our evolution — this space between conclusion and creation — without attachment".
