*FULL MOON* in Aquarius alchemizes the cauldron of our humanity.

Within this axis, Aquarius (humanitarian) and Leo (Self), we become the change.

It’s easy to focus on others, but if we keep our focus on our Self and do what we feel moved to do, we create space for others to be informed and inspired by our actions and be led by their own free will, rather than through any kind of pressure or intimidation.

This Aquarius FULL MOON encourages us to witness what is being illuminated and unhinge from the ties of public opinion to continue to unfurl who we truly are.

This is a good day for balance and choice. You can find yourself either in the basement with no windows but a sense of familiarity and security, OR you can go to up to the penthouse where you are more exposed and vulnerable but the view is way better. So if you find yourself in the “dumps” and feeling gloomy, unworthy, out of sorts with yourself and others, overburdened with responsibilities that are not yours, evaluate your life to see what you need. It is important not to get into the blame game as that never leads to the penthouse. Set some new intentions for yourself today as well as new or different boundaries if necessary.

Leo Moon cycle is grounded in creativity, leading with our hearts, and a strong urge for self-expression. None of the rough edges of emotional intensity from passing through the eclipse window in a feeling-based sign, Cancer, (connected with family, nourishment, mother, home and ancestral patterns) will be rearing its head. The Sun is no longer with the North/South Nodes and is in a warm, inspiring fire sign now. Fire lifts our spirits and ignites action.

Venus is conjunct the Leo Sun and will magnify the pleasurable and sensual aspects of leading with our hearts. Leo rules the heart and the spine. Leo radiates warmth and the deep “I Am” presence rejoicing in their creative abilities. Filled with pride for all that they are, they generously share themselves and the Spirit that radiates through them for all to appreciate and admire. This Lunar Eclipse FULL MOON on the Capricorn/Cancer axis vibrates on the theme of personal authority, guiding us back to our seat of power.

It illuminates the ley lines of our life choices, asking us to clearly see what has been driving them.

Beneath it all, have our choices been based on a need to stay safe? Or propelled by social approval and acceptance? Or perhaps have they been unconsciously bound to some old programming that has been passed down for generations?

Right now they are being realigned to emerge from the direct fount of our own truth and knowing.

We are here to discover that DEEPER WELL, that Life Source that is the Source of all true power.

It can never be taken away or diminished, it is the primal essence of who we are. And we are individually and collectively moving toward that reconnaissance, reclaiming and tapping that purity of essence, that brings us back into alignment with who we are and our place in the whole of Life.

Although this eclipse is only a partial one, the energy may in fact feel more intense than the last one. It is the completion of the bookended time of powerful opportunity for taking responsibility for your own evolution including the clearing of old patterns, attachments and beliefs.

This last couple of weeks have included the best of times and the worst of times, stretching us through challenge and crisis to expand beyond what we considered possible. Our inner and outer worlds have been shaken up, sometimes in positive directions of new and inspiring opportunities, and sometimes through challenges leading to dismantling sections of a life we were familiar with. FULL MOON and CAPRICORN LUNAR ECLIPSE on Tuesday, July 16th at 24º is a continuation of the New Moon’s growing pains to push us deeper and reach higher. When many astrologers did their 2019 yearly forecasts, this is the month and eclipse window they pointed to for Big Change!

This may be the stronger of the two eclipses as Pallas Athena in Libra exactly squares the North/South Nodes at 17º Cancer/Capricorn lighting up the themes of home and career, inner and outer worlds. At the same time, Eris in Aries, our feminine spiritual warrior, goddess of discord, exactly squares the Sun and Moon at 24º Cancer/Capricorn. Eris is known for stirring up controversy that leads to a resettling of circumstances in a whole new way.
